No... this can't be happening.
Something is weird. Really weird... could it be... no. Impossible.
I think my browser is faulty.
Look at that:

Double News on gp32x.com
I DO know that posting the same thing twice is better than not posting it at all.
But is it really that hard looking what news posts already do exist before posting new news?
Well, it happened at gp32x.com - with the Reminiscience news post.
Anyways, here is the first newspost, posted by EvilDragon:
... and here is the second newspost, posted by hando:
Well, at least he didn't just copy the news from his own site without giving credits :P

What does "kthx" and "jnjhh" mean?
vg-network.com - once upon a time a real good newssite (called Daves Videogame Classics, one of the first emulator related newspages ever) also seems to go down the drain...
Okay, by the name of the page, we now know that they use Joomla (an OpenSource CMS).
But... what the heck do you mean with "kthx" and "jnjhh" in your Main and User Menu?
What language is that? Old Greek? Alien?
Anyways, here's a screenshot:
But that's not all!
The "Privacy Policy" page simply doesn't exist...
... and the news are still from the Mambo Team (well, Mambo is the former name of Joomla)... maybe you should change all the default texts and links BEFORE you make a CMS public...?
Maybe you might consider getting the help from somebody who knows what he's doing...?
Oh, and looking at the banners on top of the page... you surely are a worthy competitor for PSPUpdates.com for having most banners on least space...

German forks are the best
Our german visitor XTale kindly submitted this odd german emunews site. Three different domains one content one mistake.
This is what XTale said:
"Hi
why you need to run 3 different emu-news sites? To put the wrong
version number on all of them:
- emunews24.de
- emukult.net
- emu-world.net
They all found mame 0.100u2"
(errors marked by me...)

EXEmu More babes!
Apparently EXEmus visitors don't care for emulation related news. The news are months old - yet the visitors just beg for more babes. Maybe this could save Zophars also? :-)

Articulate better next time
GameCop discovered a new emulator called Articulator. Unfortunately he himself is not very articulate ... the emulator is called Arculator.

Emulated circles
Well, I tried my best to find any other sites with mistakes besides PSPUpdates. I'm afraid I haven't found one.
Don't blame me for that, I don't post errors 24/7!
Anyways, I found this interesting sidenote by Dan at a homegrewn game news post:
Cool. An emulator emulating circles - written in LUA! That surely is some great news!
Maybe somebody should tell Dan that not EVERYTHING released on the PSP is an emulator...?

The world's first SidPlayer!
Hey, did you know the world's first SID Player had been released recently?
If it wasn't for PSPUpdates.com, I wouldn't known this. I could've sweared that there had been some SID Players around since years... but maybe that was just my imagination.
Hmm... maybe someone should tell these guys there's more in the world than the #1 PSP... and that some SID Players may have been released on the PC years ago...

Please don't contact us!
Well, I tried to contact the most down-to-date emulator site Zophar Net...
But look what happens when you press on "Contact us" using Internet Explorer:
Maybe they don't like the IE? I tried using Opera:
Well, at least it works... but maybe I should just exit as perl suggests in the first line... this site is getting more and more dead, no?

emu noobs: Contribute or what?
This Yuri guy is listed on our contributor list since weeks now. He has not contributed a single noob line of text to our beloved blog. I cannot tolerate this so I must take action. I am sure Nadeiko has his fingers on this one... Yuri, post something or get noobed to hell *g

MAME is Arcade, Arcade is MAME
The latest MAME release seems to cause a lot of confusion. Our friends from Emu-France didn't even bother to give the release a name. Beware, as Arcade 0.100 has been released!

retroguru.com after 0.99 comes 1.00
Oh, no - not again. Kojote thinks he is smart by applying mathematics to emulator release numbers. Kojotes brain: "After 0.99 comes 0.100 ? No thats wrong because that would mean 0.10. So the new release must be 1.00. Lets post some news..."
If he would have thrown a closer look at the credited site AEP Emulation Page he would have known better. ;-)

Copy & Paste Madness
Not much going on lately... who can blame Kojote for misspelling the latest Mame U update. There have been more U updates the last two weeks than news at Zophars for the last two months! Talk about progress ;-)

Hell has frozen over
OMG! EmuFanatics, Emulation64 and Emutastic joined forces in a desparate struggle to rule over the whole Emulation Scene. There are now more admins at the Emulation64 Forums than lamers! Green nicknames everywhere...
This is shocking news for us, three noob'able sites merged into one. Our source material is shrinking. ;-)
Whats next? A merger of VGN and Zophars? Very scary!!

Dear friends at Emu-Friends... er Emu-France, Basin is not a Spectrum emulator. It is a Basic Development Environment. And the news source surely is World of Spectrum - am I right? ;-)

MetaFox has done it again, reporting about Mame 0.79u2... And he even tries to blame it on poor Hawq. (For the haters: yes its a typo, the current Mame version is 0.97u2)

Emunews at Zophars!!!!!!!!!
I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw this today. The first real emunews at Zophars since months! But hey, don't get too excited - this news is not really new... BGB 1.03 is out since 31.March.2005 *sigh*
Maybe someone is starting to work through the news submit queue? Good luck *g

Zophars last breath
This is pathetic:
First three music updates in a row and now news about a commercial translation with 1:1 copied text without proper identification as a quote and advertisement.

Multilingual brasilians
Just found this in the foreign links section at Zophars:
We know some multilanguage sites too, e.g.: EmuFanatics is an American site about emulators, there is also an English version.
Source: Zophar`s foreign links
Ps: emulacao is down and before you start whining in the comments, the people in Brazil speak Portuguese.

Old news spreading Part 2
Oh no, does nobody listen to us? Look at what you did, another newsposter copying news without looking at the facts. Virtual VS and the I,Robot Emulator have both been updated? Sure, they have both been updated a loooooong time ago: the I,Robot emulator in 2003 and Virtual VS in 2004... *sigh*

There sites out there begging for news posters... and other sites that can even afford doubleposts. What a luxury! You could at least be so kind and donate one post to poor Zophars.
Thanks to Keith (we'll get you one day *g) for spotting this one.
